Peter has been involved in commercial, investment, and multi-family real estate activities for over 20 years and has experience directing commercial and residential, mixed-use projects for institutional, corporate, and not-for-profit clients. Most recently, he has worked with multiple healthcare insitutions and The City of a Philadelphia Health Department as they have expanded their footprint. He has represented both developers and financial institutions and represents various private developers, medical groups, non-profit organizations, and corporate clients.
Peter had full responsibility for the development, community, legal and historical issues pertaining to a prime center city residential site. He has coordinated the acquisition, planning, and governmental approvals for an age-restricted senior care/medical campus, where he orchestrated due diligence, environmental assessment, and site development tasks leading to the creation and implementation of a facility master plan. Peter’s experience includes the acquisition of numerous medical facilities. Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT, Peter also directed the $19 million historic renovation of 241 apartment units and related commercial space in center city Philadelphia, along with the planning and development of a 10,000 unit mixed-use community in South Jersey. Previously, Peter served as Assistant to the Mayor of the City of Philadelphia during two administrations. He also held the position of Assistant Development Coordinator at Philadelphia City Planning Commission.
Peter Rothberg is the previous vice-chairman and executive committee board member of the Philadelphia-based JEVS Human Services, a $90 million annual budget non-profit agency. Peter has also served on the Board of the Old City District by Philadelphia City Council. Peter has an MGA degree, Wharton School, Fels Institute, University of Pennsylvania, and a BA from Park University. Peter is licensed as an Associate Real Estate Broker in Philadelphia and as a Real Estate Broker in Florida.

Jonathan brings over 15 years of experience in commercial real estate, known for his attention to detail, responsiveness, strategic negotiation, and commitment to his clients’ best interests.
He is consistently recognized among the top 2% of performers within the Coldwell Banker Commercial network, ranking as the #5 broker nationally out of 3,500 agents in 2024.
Jonathan advises clients on healthcare and life science, creative office, and investment sales requirements throughout the Philadelphia metropolitan area and South Jersey. He has completed hundreds of transactions totaling millions of square feet, representing a broad range of clients from emerging businesses to institutional owners.
Jonathan has served as Chair of the Registered Community Organization and Economic Development Committee for The Old City District in Philadelphia and as a Board Member of the JEVS Human Services Foundation. He currently serves on the Board of JEVS Human Services.
He earned a dual degree in Finance and Real Estate from The Fox School of Business at Temple University. Jonathan resides in Fishtown with his family and enjoys fitness, travel, and exploring new restaurants across Philadelphia.

Gennadiy’s tenure with the RothbergDubrow team began in 2018 and has been marked by his adept application of financial analysis to secure significant victories for our clients. His transactional prowess is evident in his successful handling of roughly 400,000 square feet of commercial leases and property acquisitions despite the significant headwinds of the COVID-19 pandemic taking place at the crux of Gennadiy’s real estate career.
Gennadiy’s strategic partnerships with landlord clients such as Arts+Crafts Holdings, Asana Partners, Goldman Properties, and many others have been pivotal. Moreover, his role in tenant/buyer representation has facilitated site acquisitions for a diverse array of clients, including independent real estate investors and renowned companies such as Asset Based Lending LLC, Tiny Town PA, SEV Laser Aesthetics, Independence Dental, and more.
A Drexel University graduate from the Lebow School of Business with a BS in Economics, Gennadiy’s professional journey is deeply rooted in Philadelphia’s growth and development. His commitment to the city is unwavering, as evidenced by his choice to reside in the lively Fishtown neighborhood with his wife, Taylor, and their two cats, Tito and Mitsy. An avid foodie and passionate soccer player, Gennadiy balances his professional life with sports and travel. His adventures have taken him to London, England, where he spent three months studying at Imperial College. Licensed as a Real Estate Salesperson in Pennsylvania, Gennadiy’s story is interwoven with Philadelphia’s evolution, reflecting his Ukrainian heritage and dedication to the city he calls home.

Emma is a recent graduate from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor’s in Visual Arts and Graphic Design. Originally from South Jersey, she is a natural-born Philadelphia sports lover and bagel connoisseur, but she now calls Philly home.
Emma has marketing experience in various industries such as insurance, agriculture, and now real estate, but her specialty and first love is graphic design. Emma’s graphic design work has been formally recognized by the IMCA Ignite conference as the 2023 Silver Award winner for Event Attendee Materials. She is also certified in User Interface and User Experience, and continues to grow her knowledge of all things design.
Emma brings a fresh perspective to the team and loves to use her creativity to expand our marketing efforts.
AJ Checkoff
AJ has always been passionate about helping businesses grow and thrive. Originally from Cherry Hill, NJ, he now calls Philadelphia home, where he specializes in commercial real estate.
With a strong entrepreneurial foundation, AJ previously owned and operated a successful landscape design business. This hands-on experience provided him with invaluable insights into the challenges and rewards of running a business, enabling him to better understand and address the unique needs of his clients.
Focusing primarily on healthcare real estate, AJ partners with physicians and healthcare professionals to secure spaces that support their practices.
